What is the Top Performer ranking?
JA Solar modules, distributed by Greto Poland, ranked first for the sixth consecutive time in the "Top Performer" reliability of photovoltaic modules conducted by PVEL. The leading PVEL PV module reliability and performance testing laboratory (PV Evolution Labs) has published the 2021 PV module reliability "scorecard."
"Scorecard" is a key criterion for PV project developers, financiers, asset owners, and operators when selecting cost-effective and high-performance PV modules. "PVEL's "Scorecard" includes the results of tests conducted according to very strict standards, going beyond the testing minimums of commonly used national standards and norms.
PVEL's receipt of the "Top Performer" title is an extremely important recognition of the quality and excellent performance of JA Solar's photovoltaic products.
Which factors does the Top Performer ranking take into account?
The "Scorecard 2021" is a detailed summary of the tests conducted over an 18-month period. "Product Qualification Program (PQP)" includes testing and analysis of thermal cycling (TC600), climate chamber testing (DH2000), elevated temperature moisture penetration test (PID192), light-induced degradation (LID), light and elevated temperature-induced degradation (LeTID) and more. Compared to most standardized tests, PQP is more rigorous in terms of both conditions and sequences and consequently, the results obtained are more detailed and relevant to practical application scenarios for the module.
